Laurent Dubios lives in Champagne and Kobus lives in belgium somewhere? I also know the photographer Julien who works for the french VW magazine. Ive stayed with laurent at his old home in perginan and again at the new champagne home. Kobus i see every time I goto europe at random car shows? Funny how I always run into him and Ian and his posse who edit the UK VW magazine too! Ill email Kobus and find out where he actually lives! They are ALL VW people and not really into scooters though. Kobus comes over here a lot for vw events and he is instrumental in organising the bug in in chimey (2007 was camping in the rain and drinking tons of Chimey beer after driving across france in a vw bus!). Ive also met Bob at BBT, but I really do not know him that well? _________________

Unfortunatly, I know none of these persons, I live in the South of France, near Toulouse (pronounced too loose! ) If you had to come in France, you are welcome in my home! in south, we have good wines, foods, and one of my friend is an owner of a great Irish pub!
Amicalement,
Brett
Ps: your first name Eric is little bit strange, european? |

Ah, ok! Because for me, the first names, the most known, for the Americans people (male) are: Sylvester, Donald, Tom, Jerry, Mickey etc.... , you know what i mean?
Hmmm...may be too much Champagne during holidays in France? |

I guess we had a song in the 70's too which taught us French as well. Interesting.
"Voulez-vous couchez avec moi ce soir?"

Christie Laume is good on Vinyl and some Jacques Dutronc sound good

Both good 45's and are great floor fillers when I spin them at Los Angeles, and Chicago Mod clubs _________________ Lambretta Works, Inc.

its actually Eric Emile Lussier! french Canadian grandparents (Emile & Aurore) moved from Quebec to Lowel massachusets in the early 1950's to work for a french newspaper and then later to Phoenix Az in 1958 to work for the republic & Gazette newspapers as a typesetter and proof reader. "Peppier" as I called him retired in 1972 and later died in 1987. Both grandparents spoke fluent Canadian French in the house at most times, but I never picked it up unfortunatly, just a few words and phrases, the alphabet, & numbers, etc...
laurent is the webmaster for the ELDUB vintage vw cal-look website in france if that helps? Have you heard of a scooter shop in the south of france called "old scooter" cannot remember where it was, but I got a lot of really rare and cool S1/S2 accessories in there some years back. was going to menton when we stopped there and found the shop. They seriously have a LOT of rare accessories to offer, or at least did when I was in there. _________________

Ok, my feeling was good! I find this one for you about your name.
Lussier
I try to traduce:
The name is from north of France here:
or from Poitou here:
Few persons only have this name( at this time only 331 persons), in old french it spelt Ussier (year around 1140...too old!) And the meaning is the one which makes doors.
If you are interested you have this link:
http://www.geneanet.org/genealogie/fr/lussier.html
You will find, can be, members of your family...
