Alex,

My friend has informed me about this post cause he didn't understand what you said bout him, but he swore he never sent you any piccies. After reading, I must say I disagree with you, even though I like rat rods myself, I think he has done an excellent job, why taking the piss out of such a work he has done? You know as well as I do that there is a lot of hours on that scoot, and he hasn't cut or touched any part of the bodywork, it is as it was, just well painted inside out. Or is this your twisted sense of humour I am forgetting about?

Anyway man, take care bro and I hope La Befana behaves with you this year.

Much love,

Jaime, the Spaniard

Merry Christmas Jaime,

I'm sorry but where did i say he did a bad job or didn't work hard on it???

I said i preferred it in it's original state, I'm sorry if you or your friend took that the wrong way... you've been to our shop before, don't you remember the ghetto blaster?

The photos of the restoration are great and your friend "Javi" requested that I post them up for everyone to see, here is his email which i kept:

Alex, there is something that doesn't match here. He swears he didn't send any email out to you, I asked him twice but I will ask him again. It seems like someone might have just paid a joke on him or something... Anyway, of course I remember the ghetto blaster, and I told you I am all about rat rods myself great daily riders, specially for Barcelona, where people will do horrible things to your scoot if you leave it on the street for long enough.. I love that scoot how could I forget!! Will never thank you enough for the tour of the city you gave me and my lady friend.
I also hope you don't take the message the wrong way, you know we is cool like that bro.

Much love, and as I said before, I hope La Befana behaves!!!

Jaime

I'll forward you both the email. Let me know what he says about it, if it's his email address etc. I'll be looking you up for my trip to Barcelona for a tour of the area Smile

Ciao,
AlexM

Original Lambrettas are hot, but so are top-quality restorations. That scooter turned out beautifully.
